Find Strength Through Hope
When people lose hope, they stop imagining a better future. All they see is the same or worse. I understand how that feels, and when we lose hope, life's obstacles can so easily bring us down. This website is for anyone who is looking for help from God and to understand how faith in Christ brings hope and how this really benefits our emotional and spiritual health. Please browse through the videos and articles on this website and try the link to our YouTube channel, where you will find videos that address the sense of hopelessness and the common life issues we all face click here.
If you have experienced loss or know someone who has, please do consider joining one of the free Bereavement Journey courses we run. The Bereavement Journey is a weekly video discussion group, and everyone is welcome. Our groups are friendly, supportive and encouraging. We understand that working through grief and the loss of a loved one can take a long time, and it can really help to talk and share with others who have also experienced loss. This course is for anyone bereaved, whether recently or several years ago. Click here for information.
Alpha is another course we recommend you consider. It is for anyone interested in exploring the meaning of life. Alpha is a video discussion group where people feel safe to explore their ideas about the meaning of life, faith and the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. Everyone's welcome. Colin has run several Alpha courses and says that everyone who comes says it is fun, informal and friendly. One person said recently that it is life-changing. Why not enquire about the next course? This will be at Hockliffe Street Baptist Church on a weekday evening starting this autumn. For further information, please see the Alpha web page on this website or get in touch via the contact us page
